Five things to do in London if you hate Valentine’s Day

Megan Frost singles out the top five anti-Valentine’s Day events in London for those who have sworn off romance.

Valentine’s Day, whichever way you look at it, is not usually a fun day for single people. Surrounded by merchandise covered in love hearts, cringe-worthy selfies and romantic tweets galore, it’s easy to feel a strong sense of hatred for this day dedicated to ‘love’. But, singletons, fear not! There are plenty of events being held right here in London that are sure to make you forget that it’s even Valentine’s Day at all. Here are some of the best.

1. Go to an anti-Valentine’s Day party

‘Bounce’, in Holborn, is holding a UV ping pong session on the 14th. A ticket includes unlimited UV ping pong all night, UV face painters, and a live art installation. To add to the fun, the club are bringing out the ‘love police’, who will be taking mugshots of anyone who breaks the anti-Valentine’s rules.
