Autumn Elections 2014: It’s voting time

Tamara Hopewell Barreda reports on the upcoming UCLU elections

It’s that time of year again, the time when you are able to vote on who will represent you in the union. There are over 50 positions up for election and all UCL students can, and are encouraged, to vote. The representatives that you can vote for are involved in directing activities and campaigns within the Union. There are several types of representatives that cover all aspects of university life, from Faculty representatives to Hall and Accommodation representatives.

It’s important that all students are aware of what these officers do and of the ways in which they are here to represent them. Take a look at the candidates, and the positions they are running for, so you are able to make an informed decision when it comes to voting.

Candidates and positions can be seen here.

Elections will be open on Thursday 9 September at 10:00 am. You can vote on the UCLU website.
